I was delayed in getting this out but… if you own a Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, GMC, Fiat, Infiniti, Jeep, Lexus, Lotus, Nissan, Pontiac, Subaru or Toyota then your car might be subject to a recall.
Certain units of the following vehicle models are under recall by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to address these potential issues:
- 2012 Cadillac CTS for brake boost pushrod retention nuts (p. 4).
- 2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks for replacement of loose seatbelt buckle
- 2012 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans for airbag replacement (p. 6).
- electrical connectors (p. 8).
- 2008-2012 Chrysler Jeep Wrangler (right hand drive models) for airbag non-deployment (p. 2).
- 2012 Dodge Journey and Fiat 500 vehicles for replacement of contaminated brake fluid and components (p. 8).
- 2011-2012 Infiniti G37 and 2011 Nissan 370Z coupes for power window switch controllers (p. 5).
- 2011 Lotus Elise for erratic turn signal/hazard lamps (p. 5). For a British car it would be too easy to insert a Prince of Darkness joke here even though they no longer use Lucas electrical components.
- 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 for front passenger airbag module reprogramming (p. 4).
- 2011 Nissan Rogue for electric power steering assist control unit replacement (p. 11).
- 2012 Subaru Impreza sedans and wagons (except WRX/STi models) for malfunctioning brake master cylinders (p. 10).
- 2004 Toyota Avalon, 2004-2005 Camry, Solara, Highlander, Sienna, 2006 Highlander Hybrid, 2004-2005 Lexus ES330, RX330 and 2006 Lexus RX400h vehicles equipped with 1MZ-FE or 3MZ-FE (3.0 and 3.3 liter V6) engines for faulty crankshaft pulleys and possible power steering loss (p. 5).
- 2011-2012 Toyota Sienna minivans for incorrect vehicle capacity weight placards (p. 10).
